Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
Page 1 to page 15
Severus Snape and Yaxley meet in an alley way and start walking along. Then they talk.
They come to a pair of iron gates and they raise their arms and go through them as if they were smoke.
When they were inside they walked past lots of paintings and they went into a room with a body rotating above a table. The body was under a spell.
Then they saw a very pale man who was Voldemort with snake like eyes, slits for nostrils and skin so pale it made it look like he had a pearly glow.
They talked about how they are going to get rid of Harry Potter and how they can take down the Ministry of Magic. Narcissa, who has long blond hair, gets her husband to give his wand to Voldemort.
Sorry Day Speech
We read some of the speech made by Kevin Rudd in Parliament on 13 February 2008.
In the first bit he said sorry to all the people who were taken away from their families. Then he talked about a story of a lady who was taken away from her mum when she was 4 and never saw her mum again.
Then he said we are sorry on behalf the government.
After that the Prime Minister said what he would like to do for the future. He said he was going to give 4 year olds proper education and and make sure they will be able to read and write. They also are going to make sure all aboriginals will have good health care.
I'm very sad that the aboriginal children were taken away from their families, but glad that the Prime Minister has said sorry for that terrible thing.
