I read from page 242 to 260 (one chapter). In this chapter Katie Bell (a player on the Grffindor Quidditch team a game played on a bromstick with three diffrent balls)was moved to St Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries because she had touched a cursed necklace.
Harry then got a letter from Dumbledore (the headmaster of hogwarts) telling him the date of his next lesson. At this lesson they enter Dumbledore's memory in the pensive (a basion that alows you to enter your own memory) they went back to the date to where Tom Riddle (Voldemort the darkest wizard of all time)found out he was a wizard.

Book: Bad Luck
I read the whole book (64 pages)
It takes place in a town called Bad Luck it is called bad luck because of a wish fairy that grants wishes but these wishes are twisted.
Any way the Citizens of bad luck feared his return, they new he was back when a man was leaving for work one morning he smelt his wife cooking liver for dinner and he thought why can’t we have roast lamb for dinner and POOF he turned into a plate of roast lamb. His daughter Agatha watched it happen so she ran and told her Mother and they informed the Mayor that morning.
Agatha was determent to meet bad luck so she wished and wished to meet him every one thought she was crazy but one morning she woke up and saw a little boy sitting on the end of her bed. It was bad luck, Agatha asked him why he did what he did he told her "I wasn't always a wish fairy I used to be a boy, I lived in a big white house with 5 chimneys but I wanted every thing I had every thing I wanted but I had wished my parents broke so I was banished to live as a wish fairy". Agatha told bad luck that she could help him if he gave her two wishes bad luck told her she was greedy so Agatha called him silly and with out another word he vanished.
that day the Mayor came to meet Agatha and told her as the only citizen to speak to bad luck she was to receive a medal, so that night Agatha and her mum went to town hall but before Agatha received the award shse realised the bad luck use to live in the library for it was white and had 5 chimney so she ran up to the library. There she meet bad luck and wish for her father back, then she wished that bad luck had never became a wish fairy. All of a sudden they found them selves in an old mans home he asked them to leave so they did Agatha knew that this was bad luck.

Book: Harry Potter and the half-blood Prince
I read the rest of the book (Four chapters), in these chapters harry persuaded professor Slughorn to give him a memory for a lesson with Dumbledore. After Harry got the memory he had a lesson with Dumbledore in this lesson they entered professor Slughorns memory, they then found out that Professor Slughorn told tom Riddle (Voldemort) About Horuxes (an object that holds a part of a wizards sole). No Wizard had ever split there sole more then once but Videoart split his sole seven times a while after that lesson with Dumbledore he got another letter from Dumbledore telling him to meet him in the entrance hall. From there they went to Hoggsmead where they apparated to a cave near the seaside. There they went through a stone door to a lake where Dumbledore found an invisible rope. He tugged on the rope and pulled a boat out of the water. They sailed across the lake onto an island containing a stone basin full of green liquid. Dumbledore told Harry that no matter what he said to Harry had to give him the potion that was in the basin. Harry started giving Dumbledore the potion. Dumbledore started screaming in protest. Once Dumbledore had finished drinking the potion he collapsed. He screamed for water. Harry tried to fill a goblet up with water but every time he put the goblet to Dumbledore's lips the water vanished. Then Harry realised that he was surrounded by water so he filled the goblet up with the water from the lake. All of a sudden inferi (dead bodies that dark wizards use to do their biddings) rose from the water. Harry panicked, he did not know what to do. He was half way through being dragged into the lake when he was surrounded by flames. He looked over to where Dumbledore was and it was Dumbledore that was letting out the flames to fight the inferi. Once they had defeated the inferi they apparated back to Hoggsmead. Madam Rosmerta ran out from her pub and told them that the dark mark had appeared above the Astronomy tower at Hogwarts. Harry and Dumbledore rushed up to the tower where they met Malfoy. Malfoy threatened to kill Dumbledore. They were standing there for over 10 minutes when Snape burst in and killed Dumbledore. After this Harry ran down stairs where he chased Snape. But the deatheaters had got away. Harry then went up to the hospital wing where his friends and their family were standing around Ron's older brother, he had been bitten by a Werewolf.
A few days later they held Dumbledore's funeral. After the funeral the students went home for the break.
